I know maybe a dozen or more cords and can play a few songs I've either figured out or picked up from friends. I would like to advance and not sure which direction to head. I've never had a lesson so now when I pick up the guitar, it's play most of what I know until my fingers start to hurt. I think maybe lessons to find some good practice methods would be a good start.
