I've been playing alittle for years, more of a pastime or relaxer. I know maybe a dozen or more cords and can play a few songs I've either figured out or picked up from friends. I would like to advance and not sure which direction to head. I've never had a lesson so now when I pick up the guitar, it's play most of what I know until my fingers start to hurt. I think maybe lessons to find some good practice methods would be a good start. I play mostly classic rock and country. Anybody got ideas to help?
