Learn how to play the song You and Your Heart by Jack Johnson with this free acoustic guitar lesson.  This song is off of Jack’s fifth studio album “To the Sea”, which was released in May of 2010.  “You and Your Heart”  was released on the radio prior to the album release in April of 2010.  You can learn more about this song over at Wikipedia.

I have seen a number of different versions of this song and to be honest I am not positive as to which one is accurate. I can say that Marty’s version below is geared toward beginners and sounds pretty close to the original.  When you break this song down and  digest one section at a time, its actually fairly easy to play.  Marty Schwartz, the instructor in the video lesson below, will break everything down step by step, including the strumming pattern and chords.
