Creedence Clearwater Revival Bad Moon Rising Guitar Lesson

Learn how to play the easy acoustic guitar song “Bad Moon Rising” by Creedence Clearwater Revival with this easy guitar lesson. This song was released back in 1969 by CCR and was written by John Fogerty. It was a popular single from their album “Green River“. This song reached #2 on the Billbaord Hot 100 Singles Chart and reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart. You can learn more about this song over at Wikipedia.

This is a very easy acoustic guitar rock song that only uses three basic beginner guitar chords and they are: D Major, A Major and G Major. That is all you will need to play the entire song.

    Nice! Pick Me Pick Me … Haaaa (we allowed to say that?) … My Daughter and I are learning together … She saved up Her own money to buy a guitar … Not the Costco special … A little 3/4 Daisy Rock that She wanted. I like the simplicity of this video! Good Job!

    THANKS FOR THE HELP I STILL HAVE TROUBLE SWITCHING FROM ONE CORD TO ANOTHER BUT I ENJOY TRYING TO PLAY . YOUR INSTRUCTION IS EASIER FOR ME TO PICK UP THAN THE OTHERS I HAVE FOUND I MUST SAY JOE

    I’ve just started trying to teach myself guitar in the last 2 weeks, and I discovered Marty on this website. Marty, I like your lessons by far the best because you are very clear in your instructions and repeat it just enough (I am one who has to pause and replay a lot if they don’t!).     I know some basic chords and found the Bad Moon Rising clip very helpful. Wonder if I’m a bit old at 67 to be a beginner but I would like to be able to play for my own amusement.

    Great! Simple way to learn. I am taking lessons and this is the same except you can review the lesson when you want, see someone play and have someone to play with. You can go back at any time to review the lesson. GREAT!
